Project Management Specialist with CMMI knowledge – Bellevue

JOB DUTIES: Provides project management planning support. Develops and manages multiple, complex information technology (IT) project schedules and deliverables. Analyzes project schedule, critical path, resource loading, and network logic conflicts. Leads and facilitates, using accepted project management/integrated scheduling techniques, to status and measures progress. Coordinates with management/project manager to develop a corrective action plan for performance variances. Leads the integration and schedule impact analysis of complex and/or multiple schedule changes. Oversees configuration control of integrated program plans and schedules. Performs scheduling impact analysis related to change requests and incorporates approved changes. Completely understands and applies job practices, techniques, standards, principles, and concepts. Participates in determining objectives of assignment; plans, schedules, and arranges own activities to accomplish those objectives. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on project matters often requiring coordination between organizations and groups. Fills in for PM when required. Utilizes Earned Value Management to manage overall project health. Negotiates changes to project baselines. Reviews and incorporates appropriate project metrics and control systems to monitor and manage each element of the triple constraints. Provides coaching when requested, to educate other practitioners in project management

JOB SKILLS: Familiarity with Macroscope and Application Development and Sustaining process model. Ability to work in a fast paced demanding environment and willingness to take detailed direction from senior project managers.
-SE/CMMI knowledge desired.
-PMI Project Management Certificate and/or PMP certification is desired

Bachelor's degree and 10 to 14 years' related work
experience, a Master's degree and 8 to 12 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
